Behind the mirror's reflection
lies your contagious smile.
It burned within my heart as
I lived with it for all that time.
Need to be around you,
need to see your eyes on me now.
I bled when I was without your soul.
For love never felt so real before.
Now it's hard sometimes,
to remember your tender face.
That smile that lit my world.
Sometimes I witness that same smile again.
Everytime it strikes me,
like lightening in a clear sky.
Only to realize it has past me by.
