I can't help but feel lost at sea,

drifting away from every known shore.

I understand the weight of my words,

but don't let me drown in silence.

I have aged badly,

Tragically,

Alone.

But I don't expect anything more

than someone to talk to me.

Just don't make me feel like a castaway.

Don't ignore my simple request,

for but a mere moment of your time.
